Stunning openwork jade pendant consisting of one large seven-petaled flower and seven smaller ones all connected by thin tendrils. The flower is attached to a 14K gold pendant-setting. In the centre of the large flower is a small jadeite cabochon. The pendant came from America and was most probably made in the 1950's. This type of flower is not depicted in professor Cheng Te-k’un’s book ‘Jade Flowers and Floral Patterns in Chinese Decorative Art ‘.
